How is it calculated?
The figures come from the season lists the data provider publishes for each league and are updated nightly; league matches only. On a tie, fewer minutes played ranks higher. Leagues played over the calendar year, such as MLS and Brazil, are near the end of their season, so their figures run higher than Europe's. The per-minute order includes players with at least 3 goals and 450 minutes played.
