Leagues with the fewest cards
The leagues with the fewest cards per match: both teams' yellows and reds as card points, from this season's matches. Updated daily.
Leading today: Eredivisie (3.05), J1 League (3.15), and Serie A (3.37)
How is it calculated?
Each league's matches this season are counted; past seasons and cup ties stay out. Leagues with at least 30 matches played this season are listed; a league whose season has just begun enters once it reaches that number. Corners, cards, shots and fouls count only in leagues with detailed statistics. A match missing a figure is left out of that average alone; a league missing it in more than one match in ten stays off that list. Card points: yellow card 1, red card 2. Late minutes: from the 76th minute to the final whistle, stoppage time included.
